Through our program, students have made significant strides in areas that prepare them for success. Over the years, participants have self-reported meaningful growth in key areas:

The thing I enjoyed the most about MSA was the community and how everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
What helped me grow the most throughout the course of the program was asking questions and getting to know
my peers…The days flew by, and it was the absolute best experience I could have ever asked for. Although the program felt short, I’m happy that I got to create many lifelong memories and friendships.

I enjoyed learning about different careers that were offered because that helped me narrow down career choices. Also loved getting helpful advice from the employees because I felt like it helped me grow into a more independent person who is not afraid to take risks.

The thing I’ve enjoyed the most about Meta Summer Academy was the positive and helpful environment. What I think made me grow the most was the amount of support I was able to get. Whether it was from a question about the academy itself, or setting up a coffee chat with an alumnus from a specific college. I think the most valuable thing was being thrown into the Meta environment with the freedom to experience what
goes on in these tech buildings. The biggest support to me was Yasmeen. She always asked me about coffee chats and answered any questions I had. Thank you again for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

I loved my experience at Meta Summer Academy. I really enjoyed the people I was around including Kierra, Yasmeen, and Asra. They were all really sweet and it was a nice environment that I enjoyed learning in. Also, it was great learning about VR and understanding how a game in VR is created. It was very enjoyable and the instructors and TAs were all very kind. All the workshops were very great as well and I appreciated being able to learn about all different types of skills that I could use in my future professional life. I loved it a lot and it was a great experience! Thank you so much!
